![]() The key to keep out the cheaters, if you ask me, is the following:ġ) Figure out what cheats are most commonly used on your server.Ģ) Find a lot of clients, the more the better, decompile them and learn to understand exactly how the cheats work.ģ) Find a way to detect them. But there are also no client out there that cannot be detected. I'll start out by saying that there is simply no such thing as an undefeatable anticheat. Similarly, there are many ways to work your way around an anticheat. When you've read what I said, I'll delete my previous comments. I realize I am probably not contributing anything useful. You can nowadays cheat with Wurst for more than 15 minutes on Badlion without getting autobanned - A simple NPC check could extremely quickly get rid of these people. Checks that can only safely detect combat cheats in Badlion type of PvP are not going to be useful for us since our fights are often extremely short. I know that you apparently have a check that is capable of safely(?) detecting 99% of KillAuras/Triggerbots, but it depends very much on the kind of gamemode. Obviously it's bypassable once you know how it works (why it will probably never really work in a public anticheat for a long time), but that is where other checks are important. So far we have received no ban appeals for an NPC ban that claimed to not have cheated or explained us how we would trigger the algorithm - "I'm only using Optifine". ![]() We are also catching pretty much all to us available advanced clients through NPC's that claim to avoid NPC's. Ever since we started autobanning for NPC's (next to another non-npc check) we get around 50% less reports per week. Is it fun to compete with the hack client developers by blocking those hack?Ĭlick to expand.Just saying, most clients can not avoid hitting the npcs. What method do you guys suggested and think that it is efficient to block advanced KillAura?ģ. So the main point of this thread is what do you guys think on detecting KillAura.Ģ. The downside of NPCs is that it causes lag and visible NPCs irritates players.ġ. ![]() If you are still thinking that invisible NPCs can block KillAura, you are outdated. Quite an amount of client can bypass that check. I want to inform everyone that the NPC check are useless against advanced clients now. Triggerbot is also undetectable currently because it only hits players in the players view or crosshair. Unfortunately, clients can bypass that by randomizing delay between clicks. Developers also can check for constant click speed because human clicks are randomized compare to bot clicks. They check whether the player who attacks his enemy is looking at him to prevent KillAura or ClickAura which is quite good way of detecting KillAura because it doesnt require any NPCs to detect that hack but the downside is that it detects average public clients slower than the NPC check. Now, advanced plugins like AAC or AntiAura use some Maths checks to detect advanced KillAura which is good because the NPCs method are useless against some clients now. Advanced KillAura with low FOV, rotation and click speed seems to bypass that check. Triggerbot also bypasses the NPCs as it only hits players who are in the player's view or crosshair. Advanced clients can choose whether to only attack one player or only attack player which is selected by the middle mouse button. But what if some clients ignore entities that are flying or entities that were newly spawned? That would bypass those anti cheat plugins. This somehow is the best way currently to detect KillAura as some plugins use this method to detect and catch 70% of the clients. Clients can ignore them by checking if the player has armor or potion effects.Īfter that, AAC which is the first plugin I know that implemented NPCs with armor check. This somehow helps a lot in reducing bypasses but it is easy to be bypassed. Later, some plugin has implemented visible NPC check. Unfortunately, clients ignore invisible entities now. Many plugins spawn invisible NPCs to detect KillAura. Later, the NPC feature was implemented and became famous on detecting KillAura. Many members have requested KillAura detection plugin in bukkit. I will be talking about how plugins developers are trying to block KillAura and how hack clients developers managed to bypass them.Īt first in the 2013, many plugins do not block KillAura. Public static BlockBreakEvent callBlockBreakEvent( world, BlockPos pos, IBlockState state, EntityPlayerMP player) else if(!abstractclientplayer.Topic: Hi, I am opening this thread to discuss how you guys block KillAura.
